Inspiration in Action: Creating a Life of Meaning and Purpose

Everything we see around us was once a fantasy, an idea that lived in someone’s imagination until they took the steps to bring it into physical reality. While this transformation isn’t necessarily difficult, it does require an enormous amount of energy, often much more than we anticipate.

Our brains tend to misinterpret this energy gap, the difference between how much effort we think something will take and how much it actually takes, as a sign that it’s too hard. But this is when we get to double down on our focus and resilience, moving forward to create the vision that calls to us.

The word inspiration comes from the Latin inspirare, meaning “to breathe into.” When we breathe life into our ideas and visions, we become channels of energy, shaping the world around us. When we do this consciously, focusing on what truly inspires us, our lives become filled with meaning and satisfaction.

Inspiration looks different for each of us!

I Affirm: Today I take a moment to look both within myself and at the world around me. What inspires me? What, if I devoted more energy to it, would bring my life incredible meaning and fulfillment?

Step By Step,

Jessie
