60-Second Mind Shift: Turning Lead Into Gold- Living with Both Feet In.

Supporting you to free your mind so you can live from your heart!

“If we are committed to comfort at any cost, as soon as we come up against the least edge of pain, we’re going to run; we'll never know what’s beyond that particular barrier or wall or fearful thing.”

- Pema  Chodron

Turning Lead Into Gold: Living with Both Feet In

One of the biggest gifts in coaching -  beyond getting clear on your priorities and values, seeing who you truly are, and moving forward on your goals and dreams - is learning to increase your capacity to turn lead into gold.

Learning to use both the joy, the gold, and the sorrow, the lead, to awaken yourself to who you really are. Increasing your capacity to experience all of life, rather than a shallow version of life lived with one foot out the door.  Learning to stop asking, Why is this happening to me?  And to start asking, What is the lesson here that I need to see so that I can move forward? And then allowing yourself to actually move forward.

You spend less time stuck in your stories, thoughts and feelings and more time focused on discovering what action would be most meaningful for you to engage in. Asking yourself the questions: What am I here to contribute? What do I want to be remembered for?

Coaching helps us to stop running from our own lives, afraid of potential pain, and to, instead, look with curiosity at what’s next in our heroic journey. It allows us to see, in real time, that most of our fears and worries are simply figments of our imagination, created by a brain that is wired to generate fear as a survival mechanism. When we recognize the millions of thoughts our brain produces to limit us, we can acknowledge its efforts for protecting us, thank it for sharing, and move forward to live our best life helping create the world we most want to live in.

I Affirm: Today I will take a few moments to reflect on the times where I have been a hero in my own life. Moments where I didn't run from pain or uncertainty and in doing so got to experience how strong I am.

Step By Step,

 Jessie
